Dopplr Goes Beta: Two Public Talks

Dopplr is now officially in beta, just in time for a two-continent semi-launch at two great gatherings.

Today Matt Jones, our Design Director, is giving a talk at Reboot in Copehagen, entitled Travel and Serendipity. Wish I could be there…

On Monday, meanwhile, I showed it at the Where 2.0 Conference in San Jose, California. We got some good feedback. (My title in this enterprise, for lack of a better description, is “Founding Traveller.”)

We’ll be posting more here on the blog about new Dopplr features.

One Response to “Dopplr Goes Beta: Two Public Talks”

  1. Heya,

Curious when users will be able to set their home timezones? I added a trip and since Dopplr is in Finland it thinks my upcoming trip is today (for me in the USA, Los Angeles, CA)… in reality its tomorrow for me…
