Seat 16A? No, Thanks

Department of When You Travel Too Much:

Chatting with a fellow conference attendee yesterday, we discovered we’re on the same flight back to San Francisco tomorrow. I scored an exit row aisle, seat 16C, and he mentioned that he’d been in 16A. I frowned and said something about the crummy arm rest next to the window in that seat. He agreed and said something about the way the door sticks out there, too.

Which is when we agreed we both travel too much.

  1. Nice. :-)

If you ever find yourself in a situation where you _don’t_ know what a seat is like (and would like to know ;-)), have a look at http://www.seatguru.com/ - it’s a useful website with annotated seating plans of aircraft.

  2. Add this to the too much travel section when boarding the 630am UA ORD to Toronto recently i passed the stewardess welcoming everyone and nonchalantly said “Hello Helen”, which of course I did not know becuase she had a name tag on or anything, but becuase i have seen her on this flight about 5 times over the past 2 years. haha.
