  1. I bet that these are all

    a) common English words
    b) names of places

    In other words, examples of geo/non-geo ambiguity. (As distinct from geo/geo ambiguity, which is when two places have the same name, e.g. London, Newtown or Springfield)

  2. If I had to guess, I’d say those are codenames for each of those cities. About the same amount of words as cities.


  3. From Goes in the Netherlands to Media, Illinois to Kilo in Finland, I would guess these are all destinations for dopplr users… but what’s the one near Madagascar? The closest I see is “Reunion”.
