It's a pity to see Dopplr discontinued. Does anybody know how to transfer data from Dopplr to Tripit or can recommend another service?

It seems that after Nokia acquired Dopplr, it shut down its development. Sad. Thinking about going over to using TripIt - missing some necessary features though.

Anyway it would be nice to get some explanation from the (original) developers of Dopplr.

Hey guys,

What's going on? No blog entry for half a year, no press release since then either. Where is dopplr heading?

Would like to hear about current developments...

Greeting from Germany,
Johannes

I have quite a few contacts that use Dopplr, and it would be an useful application for me, if only you worked with one way trips!

I've been on the move for nearly 3 years, and it's been a a constant stream of one way trips. As a former web developer, I've dreamed about an app like this for a while, but I can't say it really exists yet.

When I will get "back" or even where I will get back to doesn't have any meaning to me, and entering all my trips as one long return one with a fake date in the future is just messy.

So, that's the improvement me and I'm sure a few others are waiting from Dopplr. Hope to see that someday. Please?

Otherwise, great site and congratulations on the recent acquisition.
